Tis the Season …
The holidays are an especially festive time of year, as happy shoppers pour through the village searching for unique gifts and treats to share with friends and loved ones.
During the month of December, the entire village is decked from vane to post with twinkling lights and garland, while each shop provides visitors a welcomed escape from the blustery cold.
Those in need of refreshment can drop into the Roasted Rooster for a mug of hot chocolate. Afterwards, stroll across the lane to The Bake Shop where warm cookies are always in full supply.
Once night falls, gather around the open fire to enjoy a few S’mores and discuss your recently acquired treasures. Make sure to keep an ear open for Christmas carolers and the distant chime of sleigh bells. You never know who might just stop by the campfire for a visit.
