BMW X7 Interior Review

BMW X7 Interior

When you’re considering your next SUV, interior matters. You spend a lot of time in the cabin of your car, and it should keep you connected and comfortable. If you’re looking for a vehicle with a luxurious cabin, check out the 2021 BMW X7.

Faulkner BMW has put together this interior review to give drivers from Lancaster, Reading, Ephrata, and York, PA, an idea of the X7’s luxury interior, including comfort, technology, and dimensions.

X7 Interior Comforts

The BMW X7 is designed to keep you and your passengers comfortable. It starts with a standard automatic 4-zone automatic climate control system. You and your passengers can set your own preferred temperatures, so no one has to settle or compromise.

The X7’s front seats are designed for comfort. They come standard with 16-way power adjustability with 4-way lumbar support. The driver’s seat even has a memory system, so you have that perfect driving position every time, no matter who else might drive your X7.

So that your passengers have a great view of the sky or enjoy plenty of natural light, the X7 has a panoramic moonroof with a fully automatic 2-piece glass panel with a power slide and lift control. You also get an interior sunshade if you want to keep your vehicle cooler on hot summer days.

Dimensions and Cargo Space

The X7 has space for the whole family with enough cargo room to fit whatever you need.

Everyone can relax and enjoy the interior of the X7 comfortably with 60 inches of shoulder room in the front row, 58.1 inches in the second row, and 47.9 inches in the third row. If you have tall passengers, they can stretch out with enough legroom—39.8 inches in the front row, 37.6 inches in the second, and 33.3 inches in the third row.

Even if you have a full vehicle for a road trip, you’ll have plenty of cargo space for luggage. No one will have to ride with a bag on their lap with the 48.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row. Fold down the second-row seats to access a maximum of 90.4 cubic feet of cargo volume.

Technology and Connectivity

The X7 has plenty of technology to help you stay connected to the world outside your cabin and to make your driving experience more enjoyable. A system that does a little bit of both is the 12.3-inch central information display powered by the iDrive 7.0 system. This acts as BMW’s infotainment system that includes features, like:

  • Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™
  • Navigation
  • Bluetooth® capability
  • Voice recognition

To give your instrument panel an upgrade, the X7 has a standard Live Cockpit Professional system with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. From this cluster, you can get navigational directions, important vehicle information, speed, and more.
